Oral History as a demonstration method of an ordinary days live at the time of National Socialism and the end of the Second World War in a literary work.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deal with oral history as one of the research methods in the field of historiography, its purpose and possibilities. The aim of this thesis is to bring the oral history and virtually represent its function in a literary or pseudoliterary text through the use of Bernt Engelmann and Harald Welzera publications. The practical part focuses on the analysis of specific statements of eyewitnesses during the Second World War by the help of the two publications as well as on comparing them with the concept of the topic of today's generations. Emphasis is placed on the principles of selective memory which means affect the transmission of stories from one generation to another. The conclusion summarizes the findings about the concept of eyewitnesses telling by younger generation from the analytical part.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá orální historií jako jednou z metod zkoumání v oboru historiografie, jejím účelem a možnostmi využití. Cílem práce je přiblížit obor orální historie a pomocí publikací Bernta Engelmann a Haralda Welzera prakticky znázornit její funkci v literárním nebo pseudoliterárním textu. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu konkrétních výpovědí očitých svědků období druhé světové války z obou publikací, dále pak na jejich srovnání s pojetím dané tématiky dnešní generací. Důraz je kladen na principy selektivity paměti, které způsoby předávání vyprávění z generace na generaci ovlivňují. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty poznatky o pojetí vyprávění očitých svědků mladou generací z analytické části.
