Awareness of secondary school teachers about cyberbullying and its prevention in the district of Ústí nad Orlicí.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o kyberšikaně a její prevenci na základních školách. Zaměřuje se především na povědomí učitelů o kyberšikaně a její prevenci v okrese Ústí nad Orlicí. V teoretické části je popsána problematika kyberšikany. Informační a komunikační technologie poskytují nejenom pozitivní aspekty, ale také umožňují zneužití těchto technologií. Kyberšikana je psychická šikana, která zneužívá informační a komunikační technologie. Kyberšikana však staví učitele před nelehký úkol. Pro učitele je velice obtížné tento jev rozpoznat a dále řešit. Proto by se školní zařízení měly především zaměřit na prevenci a proškolování svých zaměstnanců v povědomí o komunikačních a informačních technologiích a jejich eventuálnímu zneužití. Cílem praktické části bylo zjistit povědomí učitelů základních škol o kyberšikaně a její prevenci. Na základě poznatků byl vytvořen dotazník, který byl rozeslán učitelům základních škol a gymnázií v okrese Ústí nad Orlicí.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with cyberbullying and prevention in upper primary school. It concentrates mainly on awareness of cyberbulling and prevention of teachers at upper primary school district Ústí nad Orlicí. In theoretical part is described cyberbulling. Information and communication technologies provide not just positive aspects, but also take an advantage of these technologies. Cyberbullying is psychological bullying, which exploits the information and communication technology. However teachers have to deal with problem. Cyberbulling is very difficult detect and solve the problem for teachers. The school facilities should focus on prevention and to train their staff in awareness of information and communication technologies and their eventual abuse. The aim of practical part is finding knowledge of cyberbulling and prevention of teachers at upper primary school. At the background of knowledge was created a questionnaire and it was sent to teachers of upper primary school and grammar school in district Ústí nad Orlicí.
