Poverty and social exclusion of single mothers with children.

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou chudoby a sociálního vyloučení osamělých matek s dětmi. Teoretická část se věnuje rodině, jejím funkcím, rozpadu rodiny a osamocenému rodičovství. Práce dále definuje chudobu a sociální vyloučení a zaměřuje se na službu sociální prevence - azylový dům pro matky s dětmi. Cílem výzkumné části diplomové práce je zjistit jakým způsobem může azylový dům předcházet sociálnímu vyloučení osamělých matek s dětmi ze společnosti. Za tímto účelem je použita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie a pro sběr dat je aplikována technika polostrukturovaného rozhovoru.

Abstract:

The topic of this diploma thesis is about the issue of poverty and social exclusion of single mothers and their children. Theoretical part is focus on the family, its functions, break up and being a single parent. This thesis also defines poverty and social exclusion and focuses on the services of social prevention - living facility for single mothers and children in need. The aim of the research part of this thesis is to find out how the living facility for single mothers with children can prevent social exclusion. For this perpose it is used a qualitative research strategy and for data collection is used the technique of semi-structured interview.
