Tato práce se zabývá předsednictvím Francie v Evropské unii v období druhé poloviny roku 2008. Jejím cílem je zhodnotit půlroční působení Francie v čele tohoto Společenství. V několika částech se tak seznámíme s oficiálním programem předsednictví a jeho prioritami.
