Tato diplomová práce se zabývá současnou českou příběhovou prózou s dětským hrdinou, která má v dnešní době nezastupitelné místo v četbě mládeže. V první části je nastíněn vývoj žánru prózy v literatuře pro děti a mládež, následně je rozebrán vývoj témat užívaných v této literatuře a charakter dětského hrdiny. This thesis deals with the current Czech narrative prose with a children hero, which has a unique place in reading of young children. Outlining the development of the prose genre in literature for children and youth is wrote up in the first part.
