The communicative competences of pupils and their development in Czech Language Teaching

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou komunikativních kompetencí žáků a jejich rozvojem ve výuce českého jazyka. V teoretické rovině popisuje komunikaci ve škole a komunikativní klíčové kompetence žáků uváděné v rámcových vzdělávacích programech jako kurikulárních dokumentech našeho školství. Empirická část práce vychází z výzkumného šetření realizovaného mezi učiteli jazyka českého a literatury základních škol. Cílem bylo zmapovat postoje respondentů k rozvoji komunikativních kompetencí a metody i zdroje, které k tomuto rozvoji využívají. Nejfrekventovanějšími metodami při rozvoji komunikativních kompetencí žáků jsou diskuse, řečnická cvičení a referáty. Učitelé při své přípravě na vyučovací hodiny využívají nejvíce informace z internetu a vlastních cvičení. K samotnému rozvoji nejintenzivněji dochází ve slohové a komunikační výchově, nejméně pak v jazykové výchově. Pedagogové se ve svých hodinách nejčastěji věnují rozvoji srozumitelného verbálního vyjadřování, které považují za nejdůležitější pro každodenní život jedince. Nejvíce ovládanou dovedností našich žáků je využívání rozličných informačních zdrojů a nejméně osvojenou pak dovednost naslouchat druhému. V rámci šetření bylo také zjištěno, že většina učitelů by uvítala k uvedenému tématu vhodné semináře (školení) v rámci dalšího vzdělávání pedagogických pracovníků.

Abstract:

The presented master thesis deals with problems of the pupils´ communicative competences and their development in Czech language teaching. In the theoretical plane it describes communication at school and pupils´ communicative key competences, which are introduced in general educational programmes as curricular documents in our educational system. The inquirial part of this thesis comes out of research realized among the teachers of Czech language and literature at basic schools. The aim was the description of respondents´ standpoint towards the development of communicative competences and methods and sources, which are used by this development among the teachers. The most busy methods by the development of pupils´ communicative competences are discussion, rhetorical exercises and lectures. The teachers use mostly informations from the Internet and their own exercises by the preparation for the teaching. It comes to the most intensive development in stylistic and communicative education, in language teaching is the development only seldom. The teachers take the heed the most of time of development of understandable verbal speaking, which is considered as the most important for individual everyday life. The most mastered skill among our pupils is using of different information sources, the least mastered skill is ability to listen to somebody else. In frame of our research it was established, that most teachers would like to take part in seminar with these themes on the occasion of further education of the teachers.
