Use of Methods and Tools of Business Intelligence

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaobírá využitím metod a nástrojů Business Intelligence (BI) v oblasti veřejné správy. Velká pozornost je věnována popisu architektury BI a jejich stěžejním komponentám. Práce se podrobně věnuje dvěma nástrojům Business Intelligence, a to vícekritériálnímu rozhodování a vybraným metodám konkurenčního zpravodajství (SWOT analýze a Porterově analýze). Problematika vícekriteriální analýzy bude prakticky ukázána na modelovém příkladě s využitím programů Microsoft office Excel 2007 a CDP (Criterium Decision Plus).

Abstract:

This tesis is focused on utilization of methods and tools of Business Intellignece (BI) in public adminsitration. Main focus has been directed at description of BI architecture and its key components. This thesis is devoted to two particular tools of Business Intelligence - multiple-criteria decision analysis and selected methods of competitive intelligence (SWOT analysis and Porter analysis). The issue of multiple-critera analysis will be shown in practice on model example using Microsoft Office Excel 2007 and CDP (Criterium Decision Plus) software.
