Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou zájmu a preferencí obyvatel v produktivním a postproduktivním věku o domovy pro seniory v Praze. Cílem bylo zjistit, jaký je zájem obyvatel o tato zařízení a jaké jsou jejich preference ohledně poskytovaných služeb. V rámci praktické části bylo využito dotazníkové šetření, které zahrnovalo otázky týkající se preferencí ohledně vybavenosti a poskytovaných služeb, a také faktorů, které by ovlivnily rozhodnutí o přestěhování se do těchto zařízení. Výzkum ukázal, že pro respondenty je nejdůležitější zdravotní péče a sociální zázemí sociálního zařízení. Určující faktory, které by pro ně hrály významnou roli při výběru zařízení, by byla kvalita nabízených služeb a také celková cena. Zájem o domovy pro seniory byl téměř srovnatelný se zájmem o domácí péči. Vzhledem k projevenému zájmu o sociální zařízení a předpokládanému trendu stále se zvyšujícího věku populace, může i nadále docházet k úbytku kapacit pobytových zařízení. Jedním z návrhů řešení tohoto problému, by mohlo být rozšíření ambulantní služby, aby mohli lidé žít co nejdéle v pohodlí svého domova. Tím pádem by pak nemuselo dojít k vybudování tolika nových lůžek v sociálních zařízeních. Finančně se pro obyvatele Prahy jeví sociální služby jako dosažitelné.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with the analysis of interest and preferences of productive and post-productive age residents in nursing homes in Prague. The aim was to find out what is the interest of residents in these facilities and what are their preferences regarding the services provided. A questionnaire survey was used in the practical part of the study, which included questions about preferences regarding facilities and services provided, as well as factors that would influence the decision to move to these facilities. The research showed that the most important factors for the respondents were the health care and social facilities of the nursing home. The determining factors that would play a significant role for them in choosing a facility would be the quality of services offered and also the overall cost. Interest in nursing homes was almost comparable to home care. Given the interest shown in social facilities and the projected trend of an ever-increasing age of the population, there may continue to be a decline in the capacity of residential facilities. One suggestion to address this problem would be to expand outpatient services so that people can live in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible. This would result in a lower need for new beds in social care facilities. Financially, social services seem to be within reach for the residents of Prague.
