Práca sa teoreticky zameriava na podstatu bankovej regulácie a dohľadu. Definuje hlavné ciele a proces regulácie bankového dohľadu. Práca charakterizuje inštitúcie poverené bankovým dohľadom, popisuje argumenty pre a proti bankovému dohľadu. Definuje podstatu inflácie, jej rozbeh, priebeh a zastavenie.
