Medial image of the case of closed lodging houses in Ústí nad Labem and its perception by municipal social workers.

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce na téma Mediální obraz ubytoven v Ústí nad Labem a její vnímání očima sociálních pracovníků města je za pomoci kvantitativního a kvalitativního výzkumu zjistit, jak vybraná média o tématu dvou uzavřených ubytoven v Ústí nad Labem informovala a jak tyto informace vnímali sociální pracovníci města. Technikou sběru dat bude obsahová analýza médií informujících o kauze a polostrukturované rozhovory se sociálními pracovníky města Ústí nad Labem. Na základě srovnání obou pohledů budou navržena opatření k řešení podobných situací v budoucnosti.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis called Media image of hostels in Ústí nad Labem and its perception through the eyes of social workers of the city is to find out by means of quantitative and qualitative reasearch how the certain media informed about the topic of two closed hostels in UL and how this information was perceived by social workers of this city. The technique of data collection will be content analysis of the media informing about the case and semi-structured interviews with social workers of the city Ústí nad Labem. Based on a comparison of both perspectives, measures will be proposed to address similar situations in the future.
