Body and corporeality from the new history of new media point of view

Abstract:

Bakalářská diplomová práce Tělo a tělesnost z hlediska nové historie nových medií mapuje odlišné přístupy teleologie a nové historie nových médií. Srovnává pohledy na hybriditu člověka, stroje a nových médií z hlediska kyberkultury, remediace a archeologie médií na konkrétních příkladech autorů, zabývajících se danou problematikou. Různorodé uchopení konceptu kybernetického organismu tak vyvolává potřebu určení kladů a záporů jednotlivých teorií, čímž přispívá ke stanovení vhodného metodologického přístupu pro současný diskurz.

Abstract:

„Body and corporeality from the new history of new media point of view” maps the different approaches of teleology and new history of new media. It compares views on human and machine hybridity from the cyberculture, remediation and media archeology point of view in particular cases of authors dealing with given problems. Various prehensions of the cybernetic organism concept create the need for determination pros and cons of the individual theories and thereby contribute to setting a suitable methodological approach to contemporary discursus.
