Horror elements in the work of Roald Dahl
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá hororovými prvky ve vybraných dílech Roalda Dahla, konkrétně Čarodějnice, Matylda a Obr Dobr. Cílem práce je vymezit pojem autorská pohádka a horor v dětské literatuře. Praktická část se zabývá analýzou konkrétních hororových prvků ve vybraných textech.
Abstract:
The bachelor's thesis deals with horror elements in selected works of Roald Dahl, specifically The Witch, Matilda and The Good Giant. The aim of the work is to define the concept of author's fairy tale and horror in children's literature. The practical part deals with the analysis of specific horror elements in selected texts.
