The Analysis and Optimisation of a Company Webpage

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je popsat, jakými způsoby a z jakých pohledů lze analyzovat webové stránky. Snaží se najít nejlepší možné metody analyzování tak, aby jejich následná optima-lizace byla co nejefektivnější. V teoretické části této práce jsou nastíněny možnosti, jakými danou webovou prezentaci zlepšit (vyjma úplné přeměny designu). První kapitolou teoretické části je analýza webo-vých stránek a veškeré náležitosti s ní spojené (jako jsou analýza přístupnosti, použitelnosti a návštěvnosti). Další kapitola teoretické části se zabývá především responzivním designem. V dnešní době si uživatelé doslova žádají stoprocentní funkčnost webu na jakémkoliv zařízení. Poslední kapitola teoretické části se pak bude zabývat optimalizací pro vy-hledavače. SEO optimalizace totiž umožňuje posunout webovou stránku na co nejvyšší místo ve fulltextových vyhledávačích. Dále se práce zabývá aplikací nabytých poznatků z teoretické části na webové stránky www.kovarstvi-behal.cz a otestovat tak, zda výše uvedené nástroje a metodiky jsou něče-mu nápomocny a zda opravdu fungují tak, jak veškerá literatura popisuje. Analýza ná-vštěvnosti, jež je zde popsána byla provedena nástrojem Google Analytics. Návrh optima-lizace je pak shromáždění výsledků analýz a myšlenek autora tak, aby dané stránky byly co nejefektivněji zoptimalizovány.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is describing points of view from which web pages could be analyzed. It is trying to find the best possible methods of analyzing so its final optimization would be the most effective. In the theoretical part of this thesis describes possibilities of how to improve web presen-tation (expect complete conversion of design). First chapter is an analysis of websites including all requirements like anlysis of accessibility, usability and traffic. Next chapter is mainly aimed onto responsive design, because nowadays users require full functionality of the web on any device. The last chapter is about Search Engine Optimization. SEO could move the website to higher place of a search engine results like Google, Yahoo or Seznam. Furthermore, this bachelor thesis deals with the application of acquired knowledge from the theoretical part on the website www.kovarstvi-behal.cz and test it, whether the above-mentioned tools and methodologies do really work as all the literature describes. Further-more, there is an analysis and optimization of content, which does not need so strictly spe-cified theoretical part. Traffic analysis, which is described later, was done by tool of Goo-gle Analytics. Draft of optimization is the assembly of analysis results and ideas of the author, so the site would be thoroughly optimized as efficiently as possible.
