Sexuality of people with mental impairment

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou sexuality osob s mentálním postižením žijících v domovech pro osoby s mentálním postižením nebo v chráněném bydlení. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části - část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je rozdělena na čtyři kapitoly, z nichž první se zabývá mentálním postižením, druhá na sexualitou obecně, třetí je věnována sexualitě osob s mentálním postižením a poslední kapitola je o zařízeních pro osoby s mentálním postižením. Hlavní cíl této práce je uveden spolu s dílčími cíli v praktické části, která je věnována analýze polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s uživateli domova pro osoby s mentálním postižením a uživateli chráněného bydlení. Dále je zde uvedena charakteristika výzkumného vzorku, průběh výzkumu, použité metody a závěry z kvalitativního výzkumu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the sexuality of people with mental disabilities living in homes for people with mental disabilities or in sheltered housing. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters when first chapter deals with mental disabilities, the second one with sexuality generally, the next part is devoted to sexuality of people with mental disabilities and the last one is about facilities for people with mental disabilities. The main aim of this work is presented together with the partial objectives in the practical part, which is devoted to the analysis of semi-structured interviews with users of home for people with mental disabilities and users of sheltered housing. Furthermore, there is a description of the research sample, the course of the research, the methods used and the conclusions of the qualitative research.
