Depiction of violence and manipulation in selected fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm

Abstract:

The subject of interest of this thesis on the topic "Darstellung von Gewalt und Manipulation in ausgewahlten Marchen der Bruder Grimm" is the depiction of violence and manipulation, both explicit and figurative, and its possible interpretations, including the psychoanalytic approach. The aim of the thesis is to find out through which techniques and images violence and manipulation are depicted in fairy tales. The selection of fairy tales covers Hansel und Gretel, Rotkappchen, Der Froschkonig, Von dem Machandelboom and Der Blaubart.

Abstract:

Předmětem zájmu této diplomové práce na téma "Darstellung von Gewalt und Manipulation in ausgewahlten Marchen der Bruder Grimm" je zobrazování násilí a manipulace jak explicitní, tak obrazné, a jeho možné interpretace včetně přístupu psychoanalytického. Cílem práce je zjistit, pomocí jakých postupů a obrazů jsou násilí a manipulace v pohádkách zobrazovány. Výběr pohádek se vztahuje na Hansel und Gretel, Rotkappchen, Der Froschkonig, Von dem Machandelboom a Der Blaubart.
