Financial and strategic analysis including the financial plan of the selected company

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je provedení finanční a strategické analýzy společnosti Coca-Cola HBC Česko a Slovensko, s.r.o. za období let 2016-2020 a sestavení finančního plánu na rok 2021. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí – teoretické a praktické. V první z těchto hlavních částí je provedena definice základních principů finanční a strategické analýzy, jejich technik a metod. Ve druhé, praktické, části je úvodem představena analyzovaná společnost včetně nejbližších konkurentů v odvětví producentů nápojů. Následně jsou aplikovány techniky, jež byly definovány v metodické části práce. Zprvu je tedy provedena finanční analýza – a to v členění na analýzu prostřednictvím absolutních, rozdílových a poměrových ukazatelů. Oddíl finanční analýzy poté uzavírají bankrotní a bonitní modely. Tato část je následována analýzou strategickou, jejímž výsledkem je provedení strukturované SWOT analýzy. Informace nabyté z obou provedených analýz byly výsledně využity jako vstupy při tvorbě krátkodobého finančního plánu na závěr praktické části této práce.

Abstract:

The aim of this master thesis is to perform a financial and strategic analysis of the company Coca-Cola HBC Česko a Slovensko, s.r.o. in the period 2016-2020 and draw up a financial plan for 2021. The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. In the first of these main parts, the basic principles of financial and strategic analysis, their techniques and methods are defined. In the second, practical, part the analyzed company is introduced, including its closest competitors in the industry of beverage producers. Subsequently, the techniques that were defined in the methodological part of the thesis are applied. First, a financial analysis is carried out - broken down into analysis using absolute, differential and ratio indicators. The financial analysis section is then closed by bankruptcy and creditworthy models. This part is followed by a strategic analysis, the result of which is the execution of a structured SWOT analysis. At the end of the practical part, the information obtained from both performed analyzes were used as inputs in the creation of a short-term financial plan.
