The managerial competences in nursing

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku manažerských kompetencí ve zdravotnictví. Předmětem zkoumání je především zjištění, které manažerské kompetence jsou důležité pro práci manažera ve zdravotnictví z pohledu studentů navazujících magisterských oborů Univerzity Pardubice a které z manažerských kompetencí zvládají osobně. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí -teoretické a výzkumné. Teoretická část práce se v úvodní části zabývá obecným managementem, dále osobnostními předpoklady manažera v ošetřovatelství a základními kompetencemi, které manažer v ošetřovatelství vykonává. Ve výzkumné části práce je formou výzkumného šetření pomocí dotazníku zjišťováno, jaké kompetence v práci manažera považují studenti za významné, a které z těchto kompetencí zvládají sami. Cílem práce je porovnat jednotlivé odpovědi v dotazníku a zjistit, jaké kompetence v práci manažera považují studenti za významné a které zvládají sami.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of managerial competencies in healhcare. The subject of the research is mainly to find out which managerial competencies are important for the work of a manager in health care from the point of view of students of subsequent master´s fields of the University of Pardubice and which of the managerial competencies they manage personally. The work consists of two parts - theoretical and research. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the general management, the personal assumptions of the manager in nursing and the basic competencies that the manager performs in nursing. In the research part of work, in the form of a research survey, a questionnaire is used to find out which competencies in the work of a manager are considered importatnt by students, and which of these competencies they manage themselves. The aim of the work is to compare the individual answers in the questionnaire and find out which competencies in the work of the manager are considered important by the students and which they manage themselves.
