Perspectives of drug prevention

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku užívání návykových látek mezi mladými lidmi a zkoumá efektivitu preventivních opatření v prostředí střední školy. Teoretická část práce nabízí přehled poznatků, začínajících charakteristikou období adolescence, pokračuje definicí drog a drogového rozdělení. Dále se zabývá problematikou závislosti a závěrečná kapitola pojednává o drogové prevenci, kde je pozornost především věnovaná prevenci ve školním prostředí a efektivním preventivním programům, včetně konkrétních příkladů. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na subjektivní postoj studentů posledních ročníků gymnázia k drogové problematice. Výzkum byl prováděn metodou dotazníkového šetření, které umožnilo získat data o znalostech, názorech a zkušenostech respondentů týkajících se užívání návykových látek a protidrogové prevence. Díky analýze dat zjistíme, co studenti v oblasti protidrogové prevence preferují či postrádají a kde je v rámci prevence, kterou škola provádí prostor pro zlepšení.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of substance use among young people and examines the effectiveness of prevention measures in a secondary school setting. The theoretical part of the thesis offers an overview of the findings, starting with the characteristics of the adolescence period and continuing with the definition of drugs and the drug distribution. It then discusses the issue of addiction, and the final chapter deals with drug prevention, with particular attention to prevention in the school setting and effective prevention programs, including concrete examples. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the subjective attitude of final year students towards drug problems. The research was carried out using a questionnaire survey method, which allowed to obtain data on the knowledge, opinions and experiences of the respondents regarding substance use and drug prevention. Through data analysis, we will find out what students prefer or lack in the field of drug prevention and where there is room for improvement in the prevention activities carried out by the school.
