Usage of mixtures of catch crops in arable land management

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce řeší problematiku pěstování různých směsí meziplodin v kukuřičné výrobní oblasti. Zároveň se zabývá druhovým složením směsí meziplodin, účelem jejich pěstování, zpracováním půdy a vodní bilancí meziplodin. V neposlední řadě je cílem práce vyhodnotit množství a kvalitativní parametry vytvořené biomasy meziplodinami a provést ekonomickou analýzu pěstování meziplodin. Do pokusu meziplodin bylo vybráno celkem šest různých směsí meziplodin, jejichž výsledky byly porovnány mezi dvěma lokalitami. Z výsledků je patrné, že hlavní vliv na výnos biomasy má termín setí meziplodin a výběr jednotlivých komponentů ve směsi. Nejvyšších výnosů ve směsích meziplodin na obou lokalitách dosahovaly druhy: svazenka vratičolistá, ředkev olejná a hořčice bílá. Prostřednictvím kvalitativních rozborů byl stanoven obsah makroelementů v nadzemní biomase. Z výsledků bylo zjištěno, že na obsah živin v biomase májí vliv specifické vlastnosti jednotlivých druhů a celkový výnos biomasy. Z výsledků ekonomické analýzy živin obsažených v nadzemní biomase je patrné, že meziplodiny mají nejen ekologický, ale také ekonomický vliv na hospodaření podniku.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis addresses the issue of growing various mixtures of catch crops in the maize production area. At the same time, it deals with the species composition of catch crop mixtures, the purpose of their growing, tillage and water balance. Last but not least, the aim of the work is to evaluate the amount and qualitative parameters of biomass produced by catch crops and to perform an economic analysis of catch crop cultivation. A total of six different mixtures of catch crops were selected for the catch crop experiment, and the results were compared between the two sites. The results show that the main influence on the biomass yield has the term sowing of catch crops and the selection of individual components in the mixture. The highest yields in mixtures of catch crops in both localities were achieved by the following species: phacelia, oil radish and white mustard. The content of macroelements in aboveground biomass was determined by means of qualitative analyzes. The results showed that the content of nutrients in biomass is influenced by the specific properties of individual species and the total yield of biomass. The results of the economic analysis of nutrients contained in the above-ground biomass show that catch crops have not only an ecological but also an economic impact on the company's management.
