Insight to the history and current state of Theatre studio "V"

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zmapováním historie a současného stavu amatérského Divadelního studia „V“ v Brně a nabízí případná možná východiska do budoucna. Hlavní ambicí práce však zůstává objektivní popis a souhrn faktů, spojených s tímto brněnským divadlem, popis klimatu v divadle a jeho technickým a personálním zázemím. První část práce zkoumá historii divadla, jeho založení, osobnosti s ním spojené a impulsy pro jeho vznik. Seznamuje čtenáře se zajímavými členy, kteří prošli ansámblem a přibližuje vývoj repertoáru a faktory vlivu na něj. Ve druhé části je popsán současný stav divadla. Je zde analyzována finanční stránka fungování divadla, popsáno technické zázemí, kterým divadlo disponuje, rovněž je zde nastíněna otázka divácké návštěvnosti a jejího vývoje. Důležitou částí je popis dramaturgie Divadelního studia „V“ a hlavní faktory volby repertoáru. V neposlední řadě se v této části reflektují postoje samotných členů souboru k fungování divadla. Třetí část bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na možná východiska Divadelního studia „V“ a navrhuje možné další aktivity, které by mohlo divadlo nabídnout.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis charts the history and current state of the amateur Theatre Studio „V“ in Brno and it offers possible starting points for the future. but the main ambition of the thesis remains in an objective description and summary of facts which are related to this Brno theatre, describing its theatre climate and technical and personal background. The first part of the work examines the history of the theatre, its establishment, the people who are connected to it and impulses for the establishment proper. It acquaints the reader with interesting members who featured in the ensemble, it introduces the development of the repertoire and reveals the factors that influenced it. The second part of the work offers a description of the current state of theatre. The financial part of theatre functioning, the technical background which Theatre Studio „V“ disposes of and also the issue of spectator traffic and its development is outlined there. An important part of the chapter is a description of the Studio´s dramaturgy and the main factors of its repertoire choice. Last but not least, the chapter provides a reflection on the opinions of the members of Theatre Studio „V“ themselves, mostly on the direction and functioning of the theatre. The third part of the bachelor thesis is focused on possible points for future development of Theatre Studio „V“ and it also proposes other possible activities, which the Studio could offer.
