Práce se zabývá vlivem problematiky evropské protiraketové obrany na vztahy České republiky a Polska k USA. Analyzuje a srovnává průběh vyjednávání v ČR a Polsku za administrativy G. W. Bushe. Dále se věnuje přehodnocení obranného projektu administrativou B. Obamy a dopadem rozhodnutí zrušit výstavbu radaru v ČR a základny interceptorů v Polsku na vztahy těchto zemí k USA. The thesis is concerned with the European missile defence in the context of mutual Czech – U.S. and Polish-U.S. relations. It characterizes and compares the negotiation processes in the Czech Republic and Poland during the Bush administration.
