V roce 2018 byla uzavřena globální kávová aliance mezi společností Nestlé a Starbucks. Nestlé získalo výhradní práva prodávat kávy značky Starbucks v potravinových obchodech. Na českém trhu se tyto produkty začaly prodávat v září 2019. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, zda konzumenti kávy zaznamenali produkty Starbucks v retailu. In 2018, a global deal between Nestle and Starbucks was closed. Nestle acquired exclusive rights to sell products with the Starbucks label in retail. The products were introduced on the Czech market on September 2019.
