Impact of the Security Situation of Egypt and Tunisia on the Outbound Tourism of the Russian Federation in Years 2011-2018

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat bezpečnostní situaci v Egyptě a Tunisku a popsat jaký vliv má bezpečnostní situace v těchto zemích na výjezdový cestovní ruch Ruské federace. Práce představuje klíčové pojmy jako cestovní ruch, Arabské jaro, teroristická organizace Islámský stát, teroristické útoky, reakce na teroristické útoky, výjezdový cestovní ruch ruských občanů, vnímání rizika, charakteristika a dělení ruských turistů a destinace Egypt a Tunisko a jejich atraktivity. Analýza výjezdového cestovního ruchu Ruské federace ukazuje, jak se trendy změnily, vzhledem ke zhoršené bezpečnostní situaci v Egyptě a Tunisku, a které nové, pro ruské turisty zajímavé destinace tyto dvě země nahradily. Práce také ukazuje prognózy pro příjezdový turizmus Tuniska a Egypta a výjezdový turizmus Ruské federace.

Abstract:

The main aim of this thesis is to conduct an analysis of security situation in Egypt and Tunisia and to describe the impact of the security situation in these countries on the outbound tourism of Russian federation. Thesis introduces key concepts as tourism, the Arab spring, terrorist organization Islamic state, terrorist attacks, reactions to terrorist attacks, outbound tourism of Russian citizens, risk perception, characteristic and division of Russian tourists, holiday destinations Egypt and Tunisia and their attractions. The analysis of outbound tourism of Russian federation shows how the trend changed, according to the deteriorated security situation in Egypt and Tunisia and what are the new interesting destinations for Russian tourists which replaced these two countries. Thesis also shows prognosis of inbound tourism of Egypt and Tunisia and outbound tourism of Russian federation.
