Financial analysis of the company Elfis s. r. o.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá finanční analýzou společnosti Elfis s.r.o. v letech 2008-2012. Hlavním smyslem práce je zhodnocení finanční situace a finančního zdraví této společnosti a porovnání výsledných hodnot s relevantním průmyslovým odvětvím a s konkurenční společností Silektro s. r. o. Samotná práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V první metodické části je popsána charakteristika a význam jednotlivých nástrojů finanční analýzy: horizontální a vertikální analýza, analýza poměrových ukazatelů, bonitní a bankrotní modely, SWOT analýza. Ve druhé praktické části jsou aplikovány nadefinované postupy na zvolený podnik Elfis s.r.o. Analýza poměrových ukazatelů se týká i příslušného průmyslového odvětví a také konkurenční firmy. Tato část obsahuje vysvětlení a slovní hodnocení dosažených hodnot. Závěr obsahuje shrnutí výsledků z provedených analýz a také celkové hodnocení této společnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on financial analysis of Elfis spol. s. r. o. between the years of 2008 and 2012. The main purpose of the thesis is the evaluation of financial situation and financial health of this company and comparison of the resulting values with the relevant industry and with the competing firm Silektro s. r. o. The thesis is divided into 2 parts. The first part describes the characteristics and meanings of financial analysis tools: horizontal and vertical analysis, analysis of financial ratios, bankruptcy and creditworthy models, SWOT analysis. The defined procedures to the selected company Elfis s. r. o. are being applied in the second practical part. Analysis of financial ratios is also connected to the chosen industry and to the competing firm. This section provides explanations and verbal evaluation of the results achieved. The conclusion summarizes the results of analysis and the overall rating of this company.
