Social Work With Children with Physical Disability

Abstract:

Tématem práce je sociální práce s dětmi s tělesným postižením. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jak pomáhá sociální práce rodinám s dítětem s tělesným postižením a co jim chybí. Teoretická část představuje definici sociální práce, termín tělesné postižení u dítěte, historii a současnost sociální práce s dětmi s tělesným postižením. Následuje aplikační část, kde je cílem zjistit, jak sociální práce napomáhá v rodině s dítětem s tělesným postižením v průběhu tří služeb a sociálních dávek. Dávky a průběh služeb je porovnáván dvěma případy z praxe, kde objektem jsou dvě rodiny s holčičkami s tělesným postižením. Výsledkem práce je zjištění, že služba osobní asistence umožňuje odlehčení v péči o dítě, dále raná péče umožňuje rodině konzultace v domácnosti pro rodiče, podporu celkového vývoje dítěte. Odborné poradenství nabízí konzultace na danou problematiku rodiny. Následujícím zjištěním je, že rodině s dítětem s tělesným postižením mohou pomoci také sociální dávky, jako příspěvek na péči, který je rozlišován čtyřmi stupni. Sociální práce je prospěšná i samotným rodičům.

Abstract:

The topic of this work is social work with children with physical disabilities. The aim of this work was to find out how social work helps families with children with physical disabilities and what they lack. The theoretical part presents the definition of social work, the term physical disability in the child, the history and present of social work with children with physical disabilities. Following is the application part, where the aim is to find out how social work helps a family with a child with physical disability during three services and social benefits. Benefits and the course of services are compared by two cases from practice, where the object is two families with girls with disabilities. The result of the work is that the personal assistance service provides relief for child care, while early care enables the family to consult the home for parents, to support the child's overall development. Professional counseling offers consultations on a given family issue. The following finding is that social benefits can also help the family with a child with disabilities, as a care allowance, which is distinguished by four levels. Social work is also beneficial for the parents themselves.
