Militantní (též bránící se či obranyschopná) demokracie představuje stěžejní ideovou koncepci ochrany demokracie. Militant democracy features basic ideological conception for protecting democracy. Resources for that are historical experiences of European states with totalitarian government. Main criterion of militant democracy is limitation of some human rights, which represent fundamental mark of democracy, by the name of self-defense.
