Effectiveness of implemented drug prevention programs in a selected region of Prague East

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou zneužívání návykových látek a možnosti efektivní primární prevence tohoto jednání u mladistvých. Obsahovým zaměřením teoretické části je ve stručnosti předložit ucelený přehled vývoje drogové problematiky po roce 1989, shrnutí základních poznatků o návykových látkách a jejich účincích na lidský organismus, popis stádií vzniku závislosti a rizikových a ochranných faktorů, vymezení zásad efektivní primární prevence. V samém závěru se teoretická část soustředí na vybraný region. Druhá polovina práce bude praktická část, které je zaměřena na efektivitu protidrogových programů na vybraných středních školách. Jejím cílem je prostřednictvím dotazníkové šetření porovnat možnosti a efektivnost preventivních programů na těchto školách. Praktická část obsahuje několik předem stanovených výzkumných otázek, na které bude v rámci vyhodnocení odpovídáno v online anonymním dotazníku. V závěru práce je zhodnocena jak praktická, tak i teoretická část práce, naplněnost cílů a slovo autora.

Abstract:

The presented Bachelor Thesis deals with the issue of substance abuse and the possibility of effective primary prevention of this behaviour in adolescents. The content of the theoretical part briefly presents a comprehensive overview of the development of drug problems after 1989, a summary of basic findings relating to addictive substances and their effects on the human body, a description of the stages of addiction development and risk and protective factors, along with the definition of the principles of effective primary prevention. At the very end, the theoretical part focuses on a selected region. The second half of the thesis will be of a practical nature, focusing on the effectiveness of drug prevention programmes at selected secondary schools. Based on a questionnaire survey, it aims to compare the possibilities and effectiveness of prevention programmes at these schools. The practical section includes several predefined research questions that will be answered in an online anonymous questionnaire as part of the evaluation. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of both the practical and theoretical parts of the work, the fulfilment of the objectives and a few words from the author.
