Support for increasing the skills of seniors in working with information technologies

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá podporou zvyšování kompetencí seniorů při práci s moderní informační a komunikační technologií. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a aplikační část. Teoretická část je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol, ve kterých se snažím definovat klíčové pojmy jako jsou sociální práce a jejich služby, stárnutí a stáří, možnosti vzdělávání v seniorském věku a práce seniorů s informačními a komunikačními technologiemi. Věnuje se sociální práci se seniory, demografické situaci v České republice a také celoživotnímu vzdělávání. Na teoretickou část navazuje aplikační část, ve které popíšu metody a techniky sběru dat a představím kazuistiku objektu šetření. Na závěr vyhodnotím výsledky šetření.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with a support for a development of seniors´ competencies in working with the modern infomation and communication technologies. The work is divided into a theoretical and an application part. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters, in which I try to define the key concepts such as a social work and its services, an aging and an oldage, the opportunities for education in senior age and the work of seniors with information and communication technologies. It focuses on the social work with the elderly people, a demographic situation in the Czceh Republic and also a lifelong learning. The theoretical part is followed by the application part, in which I describe the methods and techniques of data collection and present the case study of the survey object. Finally, I will evaluate the results of the research.
