The charge policy of commercial banks of the Czech republic

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřená na alalýzu poplatkové politiky obchodních bank České republiky. Na začátku práce jsou uvedeny druhy bankovních produktů a faktory, kterými se řídí banky při stanovení cen produktů a poplatky analyzované dle skupin produktů. Na základě komparace tří největších bank České republiky je stanovena banka, která je nejlevnější a nejvýhodnější pro průměrného klienta. Jsou porovnány tři banky členských zemí evropské unie s cílem zjistit, jakou poplatkovou politiku preferují. V poslední kapitole jsou uvedeny názory a kroky státních organizací, které měly za cíl ovlivnit chování bank v České republice. V práci docházím k závěru, že součásný postoj bank je vyvolán poměrně mladým bankovním sektorem a špatnou poplatkovou politikou.

Abstract:

This work is oriented on charge policy analysis of commercial banks of the Czech Republic. Different sorts of banking products and services are defined in this work. There are factors that affect the bank while making the product prices and there are analyzed charges according to the banking product groups. On the basis of a comparison of the three largest banks in the Czech republic, the cheapest and most suitable bank for the average client is stated. With the goal to learn which charge policy is being preferred by foreign banks, a comparison of three banks in the member states of the EU has been performed. In the last chapter, opinions and steps of state and other organization are stated. These were to find out what causes the current development of banking product prices. In this work I come to the conclusion that the current position of the banks is given by the young banking sector in the Czech republic and by wrongly set up charge policy.
