The culture of organisation XY and its influence on the quality of services

Abstract:

Text diplomové práce je zaměřen na problematiku organizační kultury vybraného Domova seniorů a jejího vlivu na kvalitu poskytovaných služeb. V teoretické části textu jsou analyzovány základní koncepty kvality sociálních služeb, různé typy organizací poskytující sociální služby, organizační kultura a její různé typologie. Zvýšená pozornost je věnována teorii "2S Krychle" Goffeeho a Jonese. V praktické části diplomové práce je tato typologie aplikovaná na vybraný Domov seniorů. V praktické části diplomové práce jsou formulované výzkumné otázky. Dále je v praktické části odůvodněn výběr kvalitativní metodologie, výzkumných metod (zúčastněné pozorování, případová studie a analýza dokumentů) a volba komunikačních partnerů.

Abstract:

The text of the thesis is focused of the issue of the influence of organisational culture of the particular Old Age and Elderly Care Home on the quality of its services. In the theoretical part of the text the main concepts of the quality of social services, different types of the institutions offering social services, the organisational culture and its different typologies are analysed. The special attention is paid to the Goffee's & Jones's Double S Cube theory, which is applied on the typology of the particular Old Age and Elderly Care Home in the research part of the thesis. In the research part the thesis the research question is formulated. The choice of qualitative methodology, research methods (participating observation, case study and documents analysis) and the choice of research participants are reasoned.
