Image analysis of a secondary vocational school

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zpracovaná na téma Analýza image střední odborné školy v teoretické části definuje pojem image a zaobírá se náležitostmi správně provedené analýzy. V teoretické rovině vymezuje prvky měření image dle sémantického diferenciálu a způsob sběru vstupních dat, dále popisuje pojmy jako škola nebo marketing. Vše zmíněné je pro účel bakalářské práce převedeno do školního prostředí. V praktické části bakalářské práce je podrobně představena zkoumaná instituce, a to od její historie až po současnost, včetně nabídky vzdělávacích oborů a zhodnocení konkurence v podobě podobně zaměřených institucí v nejbližším okolí. V této části práce je popsán a vyhodnocen dotazník použitý ke zhodnocení současné image školy. V závěru bakalářské práce jsou na základě získaných a analyzovaných dat navržena opatření, která mají potenciál pro zlepšení image zkoumané instituce v oblastech, které dle sběru dat dopadly z pohledu respondentů nejhůře.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis on the topic of Image analysis of a secondary vocational school defines the concept of image and deals with the essentials of a correctly performed analysis in the theoretical part. At the theoretical level it defines the elements of image measurement according to the semantic differential and the method of collecting input data and further describes concepts such as school or marketing. All of the mentined above is transferred to the school environment for the purpose of this bachelor's thesis. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis presents the researched institution in detail from its history to the present, including offer of educational fields and evaluation of competition in the form of similar institutions in the immediate vicinity. This part of the thesis also describes and evaluates the questionnaire used to evaluation of the current image of the school. At the end of the bachelor's thesis, based on the obtained and analyzed data, measures are proposed that have the potential to improve the image of the researched institution in areas that were the worst according to data collection from the perspective of respondents.
