Competition policy and its influence on the behavior of companies in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Záměrem této diplomové práce je zhodnocení a případné navržení doporučení pro politiku ochrany hospodářské soutěže v souvislosti s důsledky narušování hospodářské soutěže s ohledem na aktuální právní úpravu. V rámci této práce se zaměřuji a zabývám třemi, poměrně aktuálními a známými případy, kterými se zaobíral Úřad pro ochranu hospodářské soutěže. Právě na těchto případech budou reprezentována případná pochybení zkoumaných subjektů, restrikce a sankce ze strany ÚOHS a následné nápravy ze strany zkoumaných subjektů.

Abstract:

The aim of this Thesis is to evaluate and possibly propose recommendations for competition policy in relation to the consequences of distortions of competi-tion with respect to current legislation. In this work I focus on and solve three, rel-atively current and well – known cases, which were dealt with by the ÚOHS. It is in these cases that possible errors of the examined subjects, restrictions, and sanc-tions by the ÚOHS and subsequent corrections of the examined subjects will be presented.
