Children´s conception of phenomenon of disability in children´s younger school-age

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Dětské pojetí fenoménu postižení u dětí mladšího školního věku se zabývá tím, co si vybraní žáci mladšího školního věku představují pod pojmem postižení. V teoretické části práce charakterizujeme jednotlivé druhy postižení a vymezujeme dětská pojetí. Dále se zabýváme dětskou kresbou a charakteristikou mladšího školního věku. V praktické části je popsán průběh kvalitativního výzkumu, který byl realizován u žáků mladšího školního věku s využitím analýzy dětské kresby a následnými polostrukturovanými rozhovory s respondenty. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky výzkumu a doporučení pro praxi, která z nich vyplývají.

Abstract:

The thesis entitled Children's Understanding of the Phenomenon of Disability at Younger School Age deals with ways selected pupils understand the term disability. The theoretical section of the thesis characterizes individual types of disability and defines children's understandings. The section also focuses on children's drawings and characterizes younger school age. The research section describes the course of the qualitative research which was conducted on a sample of younger school age pupils, analysing their drawings and follow-up interviews. The final section of the thesis summarises the research findings and suggests recommendations for practice.
