Coordination of movement during basic shooting skills in young floorball players

Abstract:

Smyslem diplomové práce bylo analyzovat základní koordinační vzory a jejich variace v kontextu úspěšné a neúspěšné střelby ve florbale u hráčů a hráček ve věkové skupině staršího školního věku. Pro dosažení stanovených cílů byly před zahájením výzkumu provedeny následující úkoly: oslovit vhodnou skupinu hráčů a hráček splňujících kritéria pro zařazení do studie, seznámit hráče a jejich rodiče s průběhem výzkumu, příprava a provedení měření v biomechanické laboratoři, analyzovat získaná data a popsat rozdíly v koordinačních vzorech při úspěšné a neúspěšné střelbě. Výzkum zahrnoval devět hráčů, čtyři dívky a pět chlapců ve věku 11-15 let, kteří se aktivně věnují florbalu a nemají žádné zdravotní omezení. Každý účastník byl seznámen s průběhem měření a poskytnul informovaný souhlas. Měření probíhalo v biomechanické laboratoři Ostravské univerzity, kde byly hráčům nalepeny reflexní značky. Každý z probandů měl 15 pokusů a jejich úkolem bylo trefit horní levý nebo horní pravý otvor. Výsledky práce poukázaly na důležitou roli hlavy jakožto dominantního segmentu v rámci koordinace pohybu při úspěšném provedení pohybového úkolu střelby ve florbale. U kategorie střel, které končí gólem, dochází k synchronizaci pohybu mezi hlavou a trupem, přičemž hlava je dominantní a vede pohyb. Naopak u neúspěšných střel dochází k opačnému koordinačnímu vzoru a trup je dominantním segmentem, který řídí pohyb. Tato zjištění mají potenciál praktické aplikace v tréninku a výuce, kdy je nutné zaměřit se na roli zraku při nácviku základních dovedností ve florbale, jako je střelba.

Abstract:

The purpose of the thesis was to analyze the basic coordination patterns and their variations in the context of successful and unsuccessful shooting in floorball in male and female players in the older school age group. In order to achieve the set objectives, the following tasks were carried out prior to the start of the research: to approach a suitable group of male and female players meeting the inclusion criteria for the study, to familiarize the players and their parents with the research process, to prepare and carry out measurements in the biomechanical laboratory, to analyze the data obtained and to describe the differences in coordination patterns during successful and unsuccessful shooting. The research included nine players, four girls and five boys, aged 11-15 years, who are actively involved in floorball and have no medical limitations. Each participant was familiarized with the measurement procedure and provided informed consent. The measurements took place in the biomechanical laboratory of the University of Ostrava, where the players were fitted with reflective markers. Each proband had 15 trials and their task was to hit the upper left or upper right hole. The results of this study highlighted the important role of the head as a dominant segment in movement coordination in the successful execution of the shooting movement task in floorball. For the category of shots that end in a goal, there is a synchronization of movement between the head and the trunk, with the head being dominant and leading the movement. Conversely, for unsuccessful shots, the opposite coordination pattern occurs, and the trunk is the dominant segment that directs the movement. These findings have the potential for practical application in training and teaching, with a focus on the role of vision in the training of fundamental floorball skills such as shooting.
