Marie Terezie and her School Reforms

Abstract:

Cílem této závěrečné bakalářské práce je na základě dostupné sekundární literatury přehledně zpracovat reformní činnost Marie Terezie v oblasti školství a osvěty a zasadit ji do celkového kontextu rakouského osvícenského absolutismu s jeho převratnými reformami v oblasti státní správy, hospodářství, soudnictví i vojenství. Hlavním tématem práce je tedy osobnost Marie Terezie a její reformní činnost a to především ta v oblasti školství. Samotná práce je rozčleněna do šesti kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá okolnostmi nástupu Marie Terezie na habsburský trůn po smrti jejího otce Karla VI. Druhá kapitola stručně popisuje život Marie Terezie a nesnáze doprovázející její vládu. Třetí kapitola zmiňuje její reformní činnost v oblasti státní správy, hospodářství, soudnictví a vojenství. Čtvrtá kapitola se pak snaží vystihnout hlavní myšlenky středověkého školství ovlivněného církví. Pátá kapitola pojednává o událostech, doprovázejících školskou reformu jako např. zrušení jezuitského řádu, omezení církevní moci a s tím související rušení klášterů. A v šesté kapitole je zpracována samotná školská reforma, která se týká především vydání nového školního řádu, zavedení všeobecné školní povinnosti a nových typů škol, reorganizace univerzit, nových požadavků na vzdělávání učitelů, zavedení jednotného jazyka {--} germanizace, vydávání učebnic a pomůcek pro učitele, atd. Závěr pak shrnuje přínos školských reforem a splnění zadaného cíle. Při tvorbě této práce bylo čerpáno nejen ze sekundárních literárních zdrojů, ale i z primární literatury.

Abstract:

The ambition this final bachelor work is digestedly elaborate reformatory activity Marie Terezie in the sphere of education system and edification on the strength of availability secondary source. The Bachelor work I would contextualize to the global austria enlightenment absolutism with revolutionary reforms in the sphere of state administration, jurisdiction and also in the sphere of army. Dominant theme the Bachelor work is a personality Marie Terezie and especially her reformatory activity in the sphere of education. The work is divided into six chapters. 1st chapter is engaged in the situation accession Marie Terezie on the Habsburgs throne after death her father Karel IV. 2nd chapture painting concisely the life Marie Terezie and pressure accompanying her government. 3th chapture mentioning reformatory activity in the sphere of state administration, economy, jurisdiction and army. 4th chapture represent general ideas mediaeval education which was affected by parish. 5th chapture treat about events accompanying educational reform as a derogation Jesuitical rules, limitation ecclesiastical power and with it related interruption monasteries. In 6th chapture is processed educational reform relating publication new school rule, establishment general school obligation and modern types schools, reorganization universities, new educational requirements for teachers, establishment integral language {--} germanization, publishing a school books, an aids for teachers etc. End summarize contribution educational reforms and fulfilment engaged aim. On a production the Bachaler work was use not only from secondary literature source but also from primary literature.
