Teachers Approach to Behavioural Problems of Students with Autistic Spectrum Disorders

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá rozborem přístupu pedagogických pracovníků k problémovému chování žáků s poruchami autistického spektra. Teoretická část práce se věnuje charakteristice poruch autistického spektra, vymezením pojmu problémové chování u jedinců s poruchami autistického spektra a popisu základů intervence a terapií k řešení problémového chování u jedinců s autismem. V poslední kapitole teoretické části se práce zabývá možnostmi řešení problémového chování žáka s autismem ve škole, důležitosti spolupráce s neziskovými nestátními organizacemi a rodinou žáka. Empirická část definuje pět výzkumných otázek, na které je odpovězeno v závěru diplomové práce na základě kvalitativního výzkumného šetření. Výstupem výzkumného šetření jsou tři případové studie, které vznikly na základě analýzy odborné dokumentace, polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s pedagogickými pracovníky a volných rozhovorů s rodiči žáků.

Abstract:

Thesis is devoted to analysis of teachers´ approach to behavioural problems of students with autistic spectrum disorders. The theoretical part deals with characteristics of autistic spectrum disorders, defines the term “behavioural problems of students with autistic spectrum disorders” and describes basic intervention and therapies that can be taken to solution of behavioural problems of persons with autism. In the last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the possibilities of solution behavioural problems of student with autism at the school and how important is cooperation with non-profit non-governmental organizations and the family of the student. The empirical part definec five research questions which are answered in the conclusion of the thesis based on qualitative research. The outcome of the qualitative research are three case studies which developed by analyze of documentation, semi-structured inteviews with teachers and open interviews with parents of the students.
