Tématem práce je porovnání Komunistické strany Čech a Moravy (KSČM) a Komunistické strany Slovenska (KSS) z hlediska jejich paralelního vývoje a postavení na stranické scéně. Práce se věnuje vztahu obou stran k jejich předlistopadové minulosti a tomu, jak se míra ideově programové kontinuity/diskontinuity projevuje v jejich aktuální politice. The topic of the work is comparing Communist party of Czech and Moravia (Komunistická strana Čech a Moravy - KSČM) and Communist party of Slovakia (Komunistická strana Slovenska - KSS) from the point of view of their parallel development on the political party scene.
