Comprehensive Nursing Care for Patient with Epilepsy

Abstract:

Komplexní ošetřovatelská péče u pacienta s epilepsií - Bakalářská práce se nazývá Komplexní ošetřovatelská péče u pacienta s epilepsií. Cílem práce je popsat problematiku epilepsie a shrnout dosavadní poznatky o tomto onemocnění. Teoretická část popisuje obecně epilepsii, její vznik a prognózu nemoci. V práci jsou popsány možnosti léčby od konzervativní až po chirurgickou léčbu, poskytnutí první pomoci při epilepsii u vybraných skupin a formy ošetřovatelské péče u pacienta s epilepsií. Také je zde zmíněna péče o dýchací cesty, péče o invazivní vstupy a polohování pacienta. Dále se zaměřuje na denní aktivity pacienta s epilepsií a poukazuje na nejznámější centra pro epilepsii, zdravotní způsobilost v řízení motorových vozidel. V závěru je popsán ošetřovatelský proces pacienta u epilepsie. V praktické části je popsán celkový stav pacienta, aktuální a potencionální diagnózy, navrhnuté ošetřovatelské intervence a jejich následné vyhodnocení. V závěru byly zpracovány tři aktuální ošetřovatelské diagnózy, neefektivní vzorec dýchání (00032), kdy byl krátkodobý cíl splněn. Dlouhodobý cíl nebyl splněn. U druhé stanovené diagnózy, akutní bolest (00132), krátkodobý cíl byl splněn první den, krátkodobý cíl nebyl splněn pouze druhý den. Dlouhodobý cíl byl splněn. Pacientka se zbavila bolesti do dvou dnů. Ve třetí diagnóze, deficit sebepéče při koupání (00108), byl krátkodobý cíl splněn i dlouhodobý.

Abstract:

Comprehensive Nursing Care for Patient with Epilepsy - The title of the Bachelor thesis is “Comprehensive nursing care for patients with epilepsy.” The aim of this work is to describe the problem of epilepsy and summarize the current knowledge about this disease. The theoretical part describes in general epilepsy, her origin and prognosis of the disease. The work describes treatment options from conservative to surgical treatment, providing first aid for epilepsy in selected groups and forms of nursing care for patients with epilepsy. Airway care, invasive access care, and patient positioning are also mentioned. It also focuses on the daily activities of a patient with epilepsy and points out the most well-known centers for epilepsy, medical fitness in driving motor vehicles. The nursing process in a patient with epilepsy is described in the conclusion. The practical part describes the overall condition of the patient, current and potential diagnoses, proposed nursing interventions and their subsequent evaluation. In the end, three current nursing diagnoses were processed, an ineffective breathing pattern (00032), when the short-term goal was met. The long-term goal has not been met. For the second diagnosis, acute pain (00132), the short-term goal was met on the first day. The short-term goal was not met only on the second day. The long-term goal has been met. The patient got rid of the pain within two days. In the third diagnosis, bathing self-care deficit (00108), the short-term goal was met as well as the long-term one.
