The most commonly used methods of teaching reading in the education of Moravian-Silesian region

Abstract:

V diplomové práci jsme se soustředili na metody výuky čtení v edukaci Moravskoslezského kraje, které byly zjišťovány v rámci dotazníkového šetření mezi pedagogy I. stupně základní školy. Teoretická část práce se zabývá základními teoretickými východisky z oblasti čtení. Dále pak obsahuje přehled metod výuky čtení, historický i současný pohled na metody a vybrané metody užívané v současné době v rámci Moravskoslezského kraje. Dále pojednává také o současných didaktických aspektech výuky čtení, kde je stěžejní čtenářská gramotnost. Výzkumná část obsahuje analýzu dotazníkového šetření zaměřené na metody výuky čtení, které probíhalo ve 23 školách v rámci Moravskoslezského kraje. Práce si klade za cíl zjistit, které metody jsou v současné době využívány pro výuku čtení, důvody, proč jsou metody voleny, a jakým způsobem je na ně pedagogy nahlíženo.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focusing on methods of reading education in Moravian-Silesian region. These methods were obtained from questionnaires given to primary school teachers. The theoretical part of the thesis is dealing with the basic theoretical resources concerning reading practice, including the summary of reading teaching methods, historical and current views on certain methods and selected methods currently used in Moravian-Silesian region. It is also dealing with current educational aspects of reading education, emphasizing literacy. The research part is based on the analyses of the data from questionnaires focusing on reading teaching methods, which was conducted among 23 schools in Moravian-Silesian region. The aim of the thesis is to determine, which methods are being used for teaching of reading, the reasons for choosing these methods, and the opinion of teachers on these methods.
