Abstract:
Personal data protection of the patients in the Czech Republic, trends of the legislature, current and future legislature. Special categories of personal data, professional secrecy and medical records as a key juridical institutes of the patient´s data protection. Legal liability in the event of data protection violation. Comparision with the Slovak and German personal data protection legislature.
