Music in opera: the content plane and staging procedures

Abstract:

Diploma thesis „Music in opera: the content plane and staging procedures“ He wants to deal with the issues of content sites in the musical theater. How music works with text, music as creating dramatic situations and what are the relationships between content and form. Focus of work is focused on the perception of music, opera at present and how it communicates with today's audiences. The work has seven chapters. The first two are looking at the historical development of words and music,the third chapter analyzes the music in dramaturgical terms, the fourth chapter looks at music theory rules. The fifth chapter deals with the issue of music semiotics. In the sixth chapter we discuss psychological and emotional patterns of music and in the seventh chapter on the specific four different operas look like overhead work differently with a concept of music and text.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca „Hudba v opeře: obsahové roviny a inscenační přístup“ sa chce zaoberať problematikov obsahovej stránky v hudobnom divade. Ako hudba pracuje s textom, ako z hudby vzniká dramatická situácia a aké sú vzťahy medzi obsahom a formou.Tažisko práce je zamerané na vnímanie hudby, opery v súčastnosti a ako komunikuje s dnešným poslucháčom. Práca má sedem kapitól. Prvé dve sa pozerajú na historický vývoj slova a hudby,tretia kapitola analyzuje hudbu s dramaturgického hľadiska, štvrtá kapitola sa pozerá na hudobno teoretické zákonitosti.Piata kapitola vovádza do problematiky sémiotiky hudby. V šiestej kapitole rozoberáme psychologicko emocionálne zákonitosti hudby a v siedmej kapitole sa na konkrétnych štyroch rôznych operách pozrieme, ako fungujú odlišné režijné koncepcie s obsahom hudby a textu.
