Development and Changes in Field Nursing Services within the Process of Transformation of Selected Providers in the District of Nový Jičín

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou transformace pečovatelské služby. Cílem práce je zmapovat a porovnat transformační proces u vybraných poskytovatelů terénní pečovatelské služby v okresu Nový Jičín v letech 2008-2018 a popsat, jak se transformační změny promítly do chodu těchto organizací z pohledu zaměstnanců a uživatelů. Teoretická část diplomové práce je zaměřena na charakteristiku základních pojmů a teorie z oblasti sociálních služeb a legislativy upravující povinnosti poskytovatelů sociálních služeb, s důrazem na terénní pečovatelskou službu. Teoretická část práce, která vychází ze sekundární analýzy odborné literatury a programových dokumentů, je zaměřena na deskripci procesu transformace v sociálních službách. Praktická část diplomové práce se zabývá konkrétními způsoby transformace u vybraných poskytovatelů pečovatelských služeb. Na základě metody rozhovoru se zaměstnanci a uživateli vybraných poskytovatelů pečovatelských služeb byl popsán postup a způsob transformace. Po provedeném výzkumu a porovnáním zjištěného stavu byly vyhodnoceny kladné a záporné stránky realizované transformace. V rámci výzkumného šetření byly analyzovány společné znaky transformace jednotlivých pečovatelských služeb. Získané poznatky mohou být přínosem poskytovatelům pečovatelské služby při konfrontaci postupů uplatňovaných při transformaci sociálních služeb a mohou sloužit jako studijní materiál k problematice jejich transformace.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is concerned with day care transformation. The aim of the thesis is to map out and compare the transformation process in selected outreach day care providers in the district of Nový Jičín between 2008 and 2018 and to describe how the transformation changes have been reflected in the operation of such organizations in the view of their employees and users. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis focuses on the characteristics of the basic concepts and theory of social services and the legislation regulating the duties of social services providers, putting an emphasis on outreach day care services. The theoret-ical part of the thesis, which is based on a secondary analysis of professional literature and programme documents, focuses on the description of the process of social services transformation. The practical part of the diploma thesis is concerned with specific methods of transformation in selected day care providers. The process and methods of transformation were described on the basis of interviews with employees and users of selected day care providers. The positive and negative aspects of the transformation were evaluated on the basis of research and comparison of the ascertained situation. The research included an analysis of the common elements of the transformation in individual day care services. The acquired knowledge may be of benefit to day care providers reviewing the procedures used in the transformation of social services and may serve as a study materi-al for the topic of transformation of social services.
