Use of AAC systems in developing communication for child with ASD in integration in pre-school age

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část byla zpracována rozborem odborné literatury a v první části je zaměřena na teoretické informace o komunikaci a narušené komunikační schopnosti. Druhá část se věnuje systémům alternativní a augmentativní komunikace a charakterizuje některé z nich. Třetí část objasňuje legislativní podmínky pro péči o osoby s PAS. V praktické části byla zpracována případová studie sledovaného chlapce. Následně byly zpracovány poznatky z pozorování v rodinném prostředí i prostředí mateřské školy. V závěru byly analyzovány odpovědi matky, asistentky a pracovníka rané péče na zlepšení schopností a dovedností chlapce v závislosti na užívání systému AAK. Na základě zpracování výsledků pozorování a analýzy dotazníkového šetření byly zhodnoceny chlapcovy pokroky.

Abstract:

The thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part an analysis of scientific literature was carried out. In the first part it focuses on theoretical information on communication and communication disability. The second part deals with systems of alternative and augmentative communication and focuses on characteristics of some of these. The third part explains the legal conditions of care of persons with ASD. In the practical part a case study of one boy with ADS was processed. Subsequently it includes findings from observations in the family and kindergarten environment. In conclusion, were analyzed responses of his mother, teaching assistant and early care worker at enhancing the skills of boy depending on the use of AAC system. The progress of the chosen boy was evaluated based on processing of the results of observation and analysis of the survey.
