Birth plans - enlarge upon pregnant women expectation and the real matter of fact

Abstract:

Cíl práce - Cílem této práce je zhodnocení spokojenosti žen po porodu s realizací porodních přání, se kterými přišly rodičky k porodu. Typ studie - Pro výzkumnou část této bakalářské práce byl zvolen kvalitativní výzkum formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Metodika - Výzkum byl proveden na souboru 15 rodiček, které se dostavily k porodu a měly své představy a přání vyjádřené v porodním plánu. Respondenti byli osloveni v průběhu hospitalizace na oddělení šestinedělí, aby nebyla získaná fakta zkreslena časovým odstupem. Předem připravenými otázkami byli respondenti dotazovány na okolnosti porodu, na jejich dojmy a pocity, jak vnímali přístup zdravotníků k nim samotným a k jejich přání, zda a v jaké míře byla porodní přání zdravotníky respektována. Součástí výzkumu bylo studium porodnické dokumentace a samotných porodních plánů (přání) respondentek. Výsledky - Výsledky výzkumu ukazují, že všichni respondenti byli se svým porodem spokojeni. Žádná rodička neuvedla negativní prožitek z porodu a u zdravotnického personálu viděly vstřícnost a snahu na splnění jejich přání. Nejčastější důvody sepsání si porodního plánu ženy uvádějí strach z neznáma a stále zavedené rutinní postupy v některých nemocnicích. Mezi nejčastější přání rodiček můžeme dle výzkumu zařadit soukromí, touhu po přirozeném porodu a bonding. Největší klad sepsání si porodních plánů je zmírnění strachu z porodu. Tento bod uvedly všechny rodičky. Závěr - Porodní plán je velmi užitečný jak pro rodičku, tak pro zdravotnický personál. Ženy mají lepší prožitek z porodu, zmírní jim strach a zdravotnickému personálu umožní lepší komunikaci s rodící ženou.

Abstract:

The aim of my work - My work objektive is to evaluate the women´satisfaction after childbirth and the way thein wishes and hopes, with whom Theky entered the delivery room, came true. Type of study - The research part this bachelor thesis consists of some semi-structured interview. Methodology - The research was done on 15 mothers who came to give birth having their own concepts and wishes expressed in the birth plan. The respondents were inquired during hospitalization in the confinement department, so that the obtained facts were not distorted by the lapse of time. The questions were carefully prepared in advance and they dealt with birth circumstances, their impressions and feelings, the way they noticed the medical staff approach to themselves and their desires, if birth wishes were, and, if yes, to what extent, respected. The research includes the study of obstetric documentation and individual respondents´ birthing plan/ideas. Results - The research results showed that all respondents were satisfied with their delivery. None of the women in labor had a negative experience while giving birth; at the medical staff they could see willingness and effort to fulfil their needs and wishes. Women cited as the most frequent reasons for writing a birth plan, the fear of the unknown and established routine procedures in some hospitals. Among the common wishes of mothers, according to the research, we can include privacy, yearning for a natural delivery, bonding. As the biggest asset of a birth plan is mentioned the fear of giving birth The item was stated by all mothers. Conclusion - The delivery plan is a matter helpfull for the pregnant woman as well as or the medical staff. The woman have the best experience of delivery, alleviates their fears and enables a better communication between the medical staff and the pregnant woman.
