Tato práce přináší ucelenou charakteristiku a jednotný přehled českého i světového vývoje žánru bajky. Český kontext je zaměřen především na žánrovou transformaci směrem k moderní literatuře. This work presents the comprehensive characteristic and the unified summary of Czech and world development of the fable genre. The Czech context is primarily focused on genre transformation towards modern literature. Subsequently are introduced the main Czech authors of modern fables and their major works.
