Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the novel Barrikaden by Reinhard Federmann and compare its plot with the historical reality. The first (theoretical) part of the thesis deals with the author of the book Reinhard Federmann and briefly introduces the phenomenon of German-language literature for children and youth. The second (practical) part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the literary analysis and moves mainly on the content level, which is crucial for the research intention of this essay. The novel offers insights into the revolutionary events of 1848, especially in Vienna. Both parts of the thesis are used to compare historical events with the literary model. The central theme of the research is also the question of how the author managed to convey the picture of this period in terms of literature for children and youth.

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat román Barrikaden Reinharda Federmanna a porovnat jeho děj s historickou skutečností. První (teoretická) část bakalářské práce pojednává o autorovi knihy Reinhardu Federmannovi a krátce představuje fenomén německy psané literatury pro děti a mládež. Druhá (praktická) část bakalářské práce je zaměřena na literární analýzu a pohybuje se především na obsahové rovině, která je pro výzkumný záměr tohoto pojednání klíčová. Román nabízí vhled do revolučních událostí roku 1848 především ve Vídni. Obě části bakalářské práce slouží k porovnání historických událostí s literární předlohou. K ústředním tématům zkoumání náleží rovněž otázka, jak se podařilo autorovi zprostředkovat obraz tohoto období v intencích literatury pro děti a mládež.
