Comprehensive Nursing Care for a Patient with Oral Cavity and Pharymgeal Cancer Tumor

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je komplexní ošetřovatelská péče o pacienta s nádorem dutiny ústní a hltanu. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část.Teoretická část se věnuje charakteristice onemocnění nádorů dutiny ústní a hltanu, epidemiologii, etiologii, symptomatologii, diagnostice, léčbě a prognóze. Větší pozornost je věnována všeobecným sestrám na onkologickém oddělení a jejich úlohám. V závěru teoretické práce jsou popsána specifika ošetřovatelské péče o pacienta s nádorem dutiny ústní a hltanu.Praktická část podrobně popisuje kazuistiku konkrétního pacienta s nádorem dutiny ústní a hltanu. Na daného pacienta je aplikován koncepční model dle Virginie Henderson, podle kterého jsou stanovy ošetřovatelské diagnózy dle NANDA taxonomie 2012–2014. Výstupem práce je doporučení pro praxi, které se týká zdravotnického personálu a samotných pacientů s daným onemocněním. V závěru práce je zhodnocena poskytovaná ošetřovatelská péče. Součástí práce jsou dále přílohy, které se vztahují k danému tématu.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the complex nursing care of a patient with oral cavity and pharyngeal cancer. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of oral cavity and pharyngeal tumours, epidemiology, aetiology, symptomatology, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. More attention is paid to general nurses in the oncology department and their roles. In the conclusion of the theoretical work, the specifics of nursing care for patients with oral cavity and pharyngeal cancer are described.The practical part describes in detail a case report of a specific patient with oral cavity and pharyngeal cancer. The conceptual model according to Virginia Henderson is applied to the patient in question, according to which the nursing diagnosis according to the NANDA taxonomy 2012-2014 is established. The outcome of the thesis is a recommendation for practice, which concerns the nursing staff and the patients with the disease themselves. The thesis concludes with an assessment of the nursing care provided. The thesis also includes appendices related to the topic.
