Project of Increasing the Number of Tourists in a Selected Accommodation Facility in the Lašská Brána Beskydy Microregion

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je vytvořit nový produkt cestovního ruchu. Jedná se o produkt, prostřednictvím kterého se zvýší počet turistů ve vybraném ubytovacím zařízení a zároveň v oblasti Lašská brána Beskyd. Teoretická část této práce obsahovala pojmy a definice z oblasti cestovního ruchu a hotelnictví včetně nových trendů v těchto dvou oblastech. Jedna z podkapitol byla také věnována dopadu koronaviru SARS-CoV-2 na turismus. Praktická část byla zaměřena na mikroregion Lašská brána Beskyd včetně analýzy chování účastníka cestovního ruchu v této oblasti a průzkumem spokojenosti turistů a návštěvníků. Následně byl zanalyzován současný stav vybraného ubytovacího zařízení pomocí analýz, jako je Porterova analýza konkurenčních sil, analýza konkurence, SWOT analýza a také marketingový výzkum, tedy nestandardizovaný rozhovor a dotazníkové šetření. Na základě získaných informací a provedených analýz byl vypracován projekt na zvýšení počtu turistů ve vybraném ubytovacím zařízení v daném mikroregionu. Na závěr byl projekt podroben jak časové, tak i nákladové analýze.

Abstract:

The goal of this diploma thesis is to create a new tourism product. This is a product that will increase the number of tourists in the selected accommodation facility and in the area of Lašská brána Beskydy too. The theoretical part of this work contained terms and definitions of tourism area and hospitality, including new trends in these two areas. One of the subchapters was also dedicated to the impact of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 on tourism. The practical part was focused on the Lašská brána Beskydy microregion including analysis of tourism participants behaviour in this area and with tourist and visitor satisfaction survey. Finally was analyzed the current situation of the selected accommodation facility using analysis such as Porter's analysis of competitive forces, competition analysis, SWOT analysis and also marketing investigation, it is non-standardized interview and questionnaire survey. Based on obtained informations and performed analyzes was created the project to increase the number of tourists in the selected accommodation facility in the given microregion. At the end of the project was made time and cost analysis.
