Use of the EVA indicator to increase the performance of the selected company

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je implementace konceptu EVA ve vybrané společnosti. K naplnění hlavního cíle bude nejprve provedena analýza vnějšího a následně analýza vnitřního prostředí s využitím finanční analýzy. Následně bude pozornost věnována samotnému výpočtu EVA a poté jeho implementaci do řízení podniku. Implementace bude na závěr zhodnocena z hlediska přínosů, rizik a nákladů pro vybranou společnost.

Abstract:

The main goal of this diploma thesis is the implementation of the EVA concept in a selected company. To achieve the main goal, an analysis of the external environment will be performed first, followed by an analysis of the internal envi-ronment using financial analysis. Subsequently, attention will be paid to the calculation of EVA itself and then its implementation in the management of the company. In conclusion, the implementation will be evaluated in terms of benefits, risks, and costs for the selected company.
