Digitalization of Social Work in Shelters for Mothers with Children

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na téma digitalizace sociální práce v azylových domech pro matky s dětmi a je koncipována jako práce výzkumná. Teoretická část práce zahrnuje vymezení společnosti a sociální práce v kontextu společnosti informační, dále specifikaci sociální služby azylové domy pro matky s dětmi a v poslední řadě využití ICT v praxi sociální práce. Cílem výzkumné části práce je zjistit a popsat, jakým způsobem vstupují ICT do výkonu sociální práce a do práce s klientkami v azylovém domě pro matky s dětmi z pohledu pracovníků zařízení. K naplnění cíle je využita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie, přičemž zvoleným výzkumným přístupem je případová studie. Mezi techniky sběru dat patří individuální polostrukturované rozhovory, ohnisková skupina a studium dokumentů. K analýze a interpretaci získaných dat je využita technika otevřeného kódování s aplikací prvků zakotvené teorie, SWOT analýza a obsahová analýza dokumentů. Závěr práce obsahuje diskuzi výsledků výzkumu a doporučení pro sociální práci.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the topic of digitalization of social work in shelters for mothers with children and is designed as a research work. The theoretical part of the thesis includes the definition of society and social work in the context of the information society, then the specification of the social service shelters for mothers with children and finally the use of ICT in the practice of social work. The aim of the research part of the thesis is to identify and describe how ICT enters into the practice of social work and into the work with clients in the shelter for mothers with children from the perspective of the organization's employees. A qualitative research strategy is used to achieve the aim, and the chosen research approach is a case study. Data collection techniques include individual semi-structured interviews, focus group and document study. Open coding technique with application of elements of grounded theory, SWOT analysis and content analysis of documents are used to analyse and interpret the obtained data. The conlusion of the thesis contains a discussion of the research findings and recommendations for social work.
